Occasionally children have minor incidents with scissors or art supplies and require first aid. This is usually treated with plasters, ice packs or other basic first aid items.

Terms & Conditions Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. Classes missed by individuals cannot be made up or refunded. You can cancel your booking up to three days before the first date and you will be refunded. Cancellation – If a class has to be cancelled due to outside circumstances and through no fault of the Whangārei Art Museum, a makeup class might be provided. No refund will be made. – If a workshop has to be cancelled due to insufficient numbers you will be notified as soon as possible. You will be able to opt for a credit or a refund. Data Use & Privacy – We will periodically send you emails with relevant information e.g., new workshops, family related opportunities etc. We will never share your details with a third party. Health and Wellbeing - Children must be well on the day of the workshop, including no cold and flu symptoms. If your child becomes upset, injured, unwell or non-compliant, you will be required to collect your child early. You will be contacted via the phone numbers collected in this form. We will go into natural spaces and parks which have small hazards. If your child sustains an injury they will be treated with basic first aid unless specified on the registration form. You will be notified when you collect your child unless the injury is distressing. Occasionally small snacks may be privided. Please ensure you have listed any dietary requirements, allergies or other information. For your child's safety they must be signed out before leaving and collected from the Whangārei Art Centre in person. Please collect your child no later than 10 mins from the ending time. Early collections are permitted if the Facilitator has been advised.
