If Your Tree Could Talk

Join this workshop in the celebration of trees in all their meanings and possibilities. Consider all aspects of what a tree is to you, including the hidden, the extensive network of underground roots connecting, communicating, and providing a strong foundation.

If your tree could talk, what would it say?

Working with cardboard, coloured papers, colourful pens, and pencils, you will create your own 3-dimensional tree. Your tree sculpture can be anything you want it to be. There are no limitations to your imagination.

Together we will assemble everyone’s trees to create our very own collaborative forest. We can’t wait to see your collaborative forest and hear what your trees are saying.

For Hundertwasser, nature is the supreme power and throughout his life he campaigned for the preservation of our natural environment and demanded a life in harmony with the laws of nature.

Many of his artworks reference nature, trees, and water and in his architectural projects he incorporated nature, seen in ‘tree tenants’ and ‘afforested roofs’. Hundertwasser once said. “Only if you love the tree like yourself you will survive.”
